Salam Maal Hijrah 1433M - 27th November 2011 -> Me, as the Birthday girl

My birthday falls on the same day where all Muslim celebrating  new year.

1 Muharram 1433M -> 27 November 2011

What so special about 1 Muharram? Simple, it marks the beginning of Islamic year. Since I was a kid i always heard people said that on this day all of us will receive a new 'book'. A book which note down all our good/bad deeds along the year. So, last year 'book' will be closed and we'll have to be accountable for what we have done.

If you do a GOOD DEED, you'll get reward (JANNAH) from Allah in the hereafter, and vice versa.
Means that if your BAD DEED is greater than your GOOD DEED, you'll get punishment in Akhirah, nauzubillah..

So, pray that all of us will get forgiveness from Allah and we'll be among His lover in JANNAH..amin.

Knowing the fact that all of us will return back to our Creator, Allah and we are invented solely to worship Him it's vital for us (me) to improve my relationship with Him everyday and always trying our level best to be a good Muslim.

Literally, that is my resolution for this year.To be a GOOD MUSLIM.

Rasulullah said: "The woman who reads her five namaazes (perform prayer), fasts in the month of Ramadhan, protects her chastity and is obedient to her I husband; such a woman will enter into Jannah from any of the doors she wishes to enter from."

*In other words if she fulfils the basic Islamic duties upon (her then without great exertion in ibadah and worship she will attain lofty stages.

I will have to focus to these 4 points. So these are my checklist for this year.

I would like to elaborate more on 'OBEDIENT TO HUSBAND' based on what i read. Honestly, i really have to remind myself all the time about this one thing ( actually to ALL above, but this one thing I think i take it lightly. Not that i don't know that it's WAJIB, but i just take it lightly..a bad me! )

I knew that i'm not doing the best for my husband. As I can still answer 'nanti..lah', pull a face, throw a sulk and many many more (My husband can name it!ohhhh)..

oh..before i off, HAPPY 27th- BIRTHDAY TO ME! oh...how i love 27.

Travelogue - B.A.N.D.U.N.G

Last 8th Nov we went to BANDUNG for 5 nights and 4 days. Abord the plane from Malaysia at 4.15pm (it was delayed, supposed to be at 3.30pm okey!) and off back at 5.00pm Bandung time (delayed also! huh, it just Air Asia)

But, it's OK...you sure know how to spell F.U.N when you are on holiday!! wehuuuuuu.

Note : Bandung time is late 1 hour than MY time. And we are pretty much confused at first with the Solat time, as you can find below in their local time;
  • Subuh time is 4.00am
  • Zuhr at 11.30am++ ,
  • Asr at 3.00pm++,
  • Maghrib at 6.00pm++
  • Isyak at 7.00pm++ (around this, am not sure the exact time)

We stay at Hotel Unik,Bandung. It offers an affordable rate and i think just fine for those who have limited budget like us. We are like don't care much about the stay, as long as it CLEAN, equipped with our basic needs and have free WIFI! :)

Hotel Unik side front view (side ke front? sukati ekau leerr)  hehe

Below itinerary is referring to local time, Bandung.

Day 1 : Arrived at Bandung at aroud 8.00pm. The journey took us almost 3 hours due to heavy raining (Normally it will take around 2 hours only to reach).

Our dinner is at Simpang Raya. They served Makanan Padang. Rate ?

Day 2:  Early in the morning at 9.00am we off to Tangkuban Perahu. If you have no idea about this place, here i quote from Wikipedia

Tangkuban Perahu (spelt Tangkuban Parahu in the local Sundanese dialect) is a dormant volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It last erupted in 1959. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface.

Here the pics of us!

Baby Teeth

Salam All, I just copy them over here, the info i get from http://www.healthyteeth.org/
What's the difference between "baby" teeth and permanent teeth?
At between six and ten months of age, most infants begin to get their "baby" teeth.

The Central Incisors (front middle teeth) usually come in first, and then teeth begin appearing on either side and work their way back to the second molars.
By the time a child has reached three years old, most of the "baby" teeth should be present.

The process begins to repeat itself when the child is about seven years old. The Central Incisors fall out first and are replaced by permanent teeth. By the age of 21, most people have all of their permanent teeth.

Diagram of First Teeth

"Baby" teeth are important because they hold the place for permanent teeth and help guide them into correct position. "Baby" teeth play an important role in the development of speech and chewing.

I believe all of you get you permanent teeth already, Or do I have elementary readers here? hehe

why i posted about tooth development here? Below picture is the answer.

see...She got her first two baby teeth already! Alhamdulillah
watch for her bite mommy!

Raya Haji 2011

hollaaaa...just realize that we didnt snap any pictures during Raya Haji. This year is my kampung's turn at Parit Sikom, Pontian.

We ate rendang, nasi himpit ( Wak Minah said she couldn't find 'janur' (coconut leaves) to weav the ketupat.Nevermind, nasi himpit also tasted good what. kan??

Before we reached kampung, we stopped by at town first to buy Sofea's stuff (Anmum powder, Petpet pampers, Nestum etc).We buy in bundle, like 5 packs of Anmum, 4 packs of pampers to serve as our stock for the entire month since the shop sells at the cheapest price that we could find. So, this is our routine each time we back to hometown.

After that, we dropped by at Econsave to buy some fruits.

So, below is the pictures of beloved Sofea Hana in the Econsave trolley.

She's few days to 8 months old.

Goodbye October!

Has it been forever since I blogged on here? Nah, it just since last month.

Rainy October has left me with so many good things, my daughter amaze me everyday with her cuteness, smart & tricks. Husband is so supportive and caring as always. Both have suppllied me with the endless love.

OVERALL, things are GOOD.
  • Getting wet everyday back from office.That is GOOD, so that we can HOLD each other tight during the ride.
  • Buying orchids.That is GOOD, so we can see it blooms each time we open our eyes in the morning.(We bought 4 plants, and in the next day my MIL bought another 2, in total we have 6 pots in our house! One of them we put in our room, diff species than the rest since you cant expose it too much under the sun.So, your room is somewhat a perfect place for it. The other must have about 30% of lights, so we put them in our courtyard).
  • Start cooking everyday.That is GOOD, so we can save some money and spend more time in our home and having dinner together with a bigger family than just 3 of us.

That's the thing that I could remember right now.

Oh, but wait, on last 28th Oct, our lovely nephew, Little Syed Zahir Wafa, celebrated his 1st birthday. You have grown up fast, and now you are walking happily around the house.We are so happy looking at your development dear. May Allah bless you and may our loves will keep you warm everyday.

And now it's November. And it's still raining everyday.I believe many many more good things will come to us, just like October, and even better than that.
